These terms describe the responsibilities and boundaries of using Owuntu, operated by Magnara Inc. Contact owuntu@magnara.ca with questions.

What Owuntu does.

Owuntu supports wellness conversations through Telegram, including supported journaling, shared team context and AI-assisted questions. Available capabilities are described in the bot. Access is by invitation and authorization; visiting this website does not enrol you in coaching or professional care.

Not medical care or emergency support.

Owuntu and its AI responses are not medical care, diagnosis, treatment or emergency monitoring. Nobody is continuously watching your messages. If you need urgent help, contact your local emergency services; do not wait for the bot or a team member to reply.

Review exercise, nutrition and health decisions with an appropriately qualified professional, particularly when injuries, symptoms or medical conditions are involved. Do not use an AI response to disregard professional advice.

AI and professional responsibilities.

AI can produce incomplete or incorrect information. Check important facts and review summaries before relying on them. Food photos cannot reliably establish exact portions, ingredients or nutrition values.

Each professional is responsible for their own advice and scope of practice. An invitation to an Owuntu team does not establish that Owuntu has verified a person's qualifications. Confirm credentials and professional arrangements directly. No employer-benefit reimbursement is guaranteed.

Your participation.

Owuntu is intended for adults. Read the bot's disclosure and provide consent before recording personal information. Keep your Telegram account secure and share information carefully, especially in a group.

Do not impersonate others, harass participants, attempt unauthorized access, or use the service unlawfully. Provide only material you are entitled to use or share. Respect other participants' privacy and obtain permission before sharing their personal information.

Team owners are responsible for choosing participants and managing Telegram group membership. Bot permissions and Telegram membership are separate controls.

Your records and third-party services.

You retain your rights in the content you provide. Owuntu processes that content to provide the features you request, subject to the Privacy information and your consent.

Telegram, hosting infrastructure and AI providers are separate services with their own terms and policies. Removing bot records cannot recall messages or copies held elsewhere.

Availability and changes.

Responses may be delayed, interrupted or unavailable. Do not depend on Owuntu for time-critical decisions. Features and these terms may change; this page's date identifies the current version. Access may be restricted to protect participants or address misuse.

These terms do not remove rights or protections you have under applicable law. Any separate coaching, payment or professional-service agreement should be confirmed directly with the provider.
